About Me:

I am a Ph.D. student working at LKS Faculty of Medicine, the University of Hong Kong. My Ph.D. study focus on genomic study of systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), a human complex trait.

My accomplishment:
(1) identifited 3 novel loci associated with SLE using GWAS method (PMID: 33493351).
(2) developed a polygenic risk score model to distinguish SLE patients with and without nephritis (renal inflammation) and pinpointing the contributory loci (PMID: 39832277).
(3) validated an increased trisomy X frequency in East Asian SLE cohorts compared to healthy controls (PMID: 38458775).

My Ph.D. project is a large-scale whole-genome sequencing project, which includes 1,500 SLE cases and 10,500 controls, trying to identify HLA alleles, structural variants, and rare variants that contributing to the flare of SLE.

Currently, I'm looking for a postdoc job in the US. If my background is of interest, please get in touch (email address below).
